The Mindset Mentorship programme is a new innovative programme which has been designed by the community.
The programme lasts for 6-months and has weekly mentor sessions to help upskill individuals to facilitate a range voluntary group sessions.
Community workshops include education around movement, nutrition, mindset, and rest/recovery & sleep, which all have a significant impact on our mental wellbeing.
Workshops are delivered either face-to-face or online and fully engage the audience and their peers.
This includes our very own 'Mindset Gym' courses which can be tailored to the types of individuals it's intended for.
Depending on the depth of knowledge, this course can be offered as a 6 or a 12-week course, with the aim of supporting individuals with stress, anxiety, and depressive symptoms.
This is a co-produced and community led mentorship programme. It involves a weekly mindset café which is facilitated by a professional mindset coach. Each week will involve discussions around positive mindset behaviours, and you will have the opportunity to listen, learn, and grow.
The facilitated programme itself will be for 6 months, where the mindset coach will support individuals learn and gain experience on supporting/or volunteering for other community groups.
However, the participants will still have ongoing support for a further 6-months through online Mindset Forums and group check-ins.
Individuals accepted on the programme, should they invest time into the practices they have learnt benefit by increased sense of purpose, self-esteem, and confidence.
We hope that this will manifest into an improved sense of lifestyle and prepare individuals to act with self-leadership and be in a position to help other individuals with similar lived experiences.
The aim of the programme is to enhance a person’s mental and physical wellbeing, having learnt strategies and tools to sustain positive behaviour change. If the individual has attended 70% of the programme and has increased their ‘stage of readiness level’ they will then graduate as a ‘Mindset Champion’.
We will then either support the development of other Mindset Café’s they can volunteer for or, introduce them to other community groups.
